Finca Barucito is a beautiful and tranquil getaway located on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, only twenty-two kilometers or fourteen miles from Dominical and the beautiful white sand beaches of that region. This project is ninety acres of mixed-use land, made up of rainforest, jungle, pasture and orchards. Nestled in the hills and within a short horse ride of the six-hundred feet Diamante falls and picturesque Nayauca falls, it has year round views of sunset over the Pacific. Only three and a half-hours travel from San Jose, it is also within view of Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio. We are proud to be a part of the La Florida community.

We are pleased to welcome guests to Finca Barucito. A variety of accommodations are available, ranging from camping platforms to private cabinas. Delicious meals for all types of people are served every day with organic produce.

Tranquility is easily found here and people have a tendency to relax almost immediately upon arrival. Enjoy quiet time walking in our gardens and orchards and watch the sun sink into the Pacific Ocean. Spend a long morning hiking our jungle trails, or relaxing by a waterfall.

Wildlife viewing is good at Barucito. Hundreds of species of birds visit the land throughout the year, and a huge variety of frogs, monkeys, sloths, etc. migrate across the property regularly.

Volunteer accommodations are available to those that would like to help with the project. There are a variety of projects ongoing that are in need of help from many different skill sets.
